Registration for KOVAN SUPERSTAR is Opening Tomorrow 25/1/2010!

There are a few ways you can register!

1) Go to the KSS Registration Portal where you will be able to download the registration form and read the Terms and Conditions.

2) Go to the XYZ Inc. Office

3) Visit the Heartland Mall Customer Service Counter

4) KOVAN SUPERSTAR 2010 Registration Booth

Note: KSS2010 Registration Booth will only be set up on the Saturdays of Feb - April except 13 Feb and 24 Apr 2010 from 12 - 6pm.

5) Download, fill up the registration form and email to pcs.xyz.inc@gmail.com

Note: For registration through email, registration will only be confirmed upon fees payment. Please arrange with XYZ Inc. regarding methods of payment.

What is KSS?

This singing competition is open to all aged 13 to 26 yrs old. The choice of songs must be either in English or Mandarin. A registration fee of $15 is applicable except for early bird special @ $10 (Before 14 Mar 2010) and shoppers’ special @ $10 with min $30 spent in Heartland Mall-Kovan.

Registration booths to be set up in Heartland Mall (All Saturdays in Feb - Apr 2010 except 13 Feb and 24 Apr from 12-6pm), and registrations submission at Customer Service Counter@L3 or at XYZ Inc office.

Auditions

The auditions will be held on 4 consecutive Saturdays, namely the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of April. More details will be available after registration!

How It's Done

Many will ask how the competition will go. Firstly, competitors will have to go through the first stage, the Audition where they will sing without music accompaniment. People who qualify will move on the the quarter finals!

The quarter finals will be where contestants will be able to choose a song of their own and sing it. (With accompaniment of the minus-one track). And the best 24 will go on to the next stage, the Semi-Finals, where it will be a grueling one day competition. The best 12 will of course move on to the Finals!

Other than competing for the crown of Kovan Superstar 2010, finalists will also be able to get a chance to record their own track (composed by songwriting teachers) in a professional recording studio! This is a once in a lifetime experience for many.

What about the Prizes?

So what can you get when you emerge victorious in this competition?

Winner - $1200 Cash Prize + $300 HMK Vouchers

1st Runner Up - $800 Cash Prize + $200 HMK Vouchers

2nd Runner Up - $500 Cash Prize + $200 HMK Vouchers

9 Finalists - $150 HMK Vouchers

Semi-finalists - $50 HMK Vouchers
