Finalised Groupings and Reporting Time will be announced on this blog by18 June 2009 (Thursday).
Groupings and timings are drawn and arranged randomly. Please make time for the semi-finals according to the time allocated. No change of groupings or timings are allowed.

Semi-Finals Format
Each contestant will perform a full song not exceeding 4.5 mins with music minus one.
Selection Process
12 Finalists will be selected based on the scores given by our judges.
Judging Criteria
1) Diction (咬字）：Articulation & accuracy of the lyrics 10%
2) Rhythm (节奏感）: Sense of rhythm & tempo 20%
3) Pitching （音准）: Accuracy of sining to desired pitch 20%4) Voice Quality (音质）：Clarity & comfort of listening to the voice 10%
5) Stage Presence (舞台魅力）：Charisma on stage that attracts and impacted the audience. 20%
6) Song Management (歌曲演绎）：Expression of the song and the conveying of msg through the song. 20%
Submission Dateline
Confirm and submit your song and MMO by 23 June 2009 (Tuesday)
Contestants who fails to submit their songs and MMO by the above dates are liable to be disqualified from the Semi-finals.
Submit your MMO music files in MP3 or WMA format to pcs.xyz.inc@gmail.com
OR
Submit your MMO CD or Karaoke VCD to Xtreme Youth Zone Inc.

Pls obey strictly to the 4.5mins restriction for song selection...
Announcement of the 12 finalists will be on the day of the Semi-finals itself.

The Changes...
Selection Process is changed to better meet the objectives set by the organiser.
1) Selection Process
Flashing of Green or Orange cards by each Judge
Majority Green cards: Proceed directly into Semi-Finals
(If there are no more than 2 out of 4 Green cards, wait for further announcement)
2) Reporting Venue
Inside Heartland Mall instead of the long walkway outside Heartland Mall...
The Updates...
1) Registration Instructions
No early rgistration is allowed in order for us to have better control of the crowd. Registration will only open to each group at its allocated reporting time. Announcements will be made at each time of reporting when registration opens.
2) Audition Judges
Confirmed number of judges for auditions will be 4 as shown below.

Kovan Superstar 2009 Dateline is Drawing Near!!!
As the dateline 3 June 2009 draws near, more & more registrations are coming in...XYZ's KSS09 registration booth will be opened 1 more day tm Sunday 31 May 2009 from 1-6pm to collect more entries and CD/MMO submission...
Submission of MMOs By 4 June
For submission of Karaoke CD/VCD/DVD for audition from 1 - 4 June 2009, pls do so at:

For MMO files in MP3 or WMA format, u can send ur music files to www.pcs.xyz.inc@gmail.com
On all MMO or Karaoke CD/VCD/DVD, Pls clearly indicate ur name, song and track number...
